My wife and I were in San Antonio on the anniverary of the siege of the Alamo. Here's a haunting view with the moon overhead. You can sense the same stillness that must have fallen over this Texas shrine back in 1836 when it fell to the Mexican army. No state, anywhere, has a history as proud as ours. Long live the memories of Davy Crockett, Jim Bowie and William Barrett Travis. Remember the Alamo!

Nightfall at the Alamo
My wife and I were in San Antonio on the anniverary of the siege of the Alamo. Here's a haunting view with the moon overhead.
